Oregon State Vs. Cal Recap: Beavers Pick Up 92-85 Win

Oregon State picked up their first Pac-12 win of the season on Thursday with a 92-85 win over Cal. The loss was the Golden Bears' first in conference play.

The Oregon St. Beavers continued Pac-12 play on Thursday evening as they hosted the California Golden Bears. OSU was able to hold off Cal in the second half and hand the Golden Bears their first loss in conference play with a 92-85 Beavers victory.

The two teams were tied 38-38 heading into halftime, but played solid defense in the second half to end up walking away with the seven-point win. Guards Jared Cunningham and Ahmad Starks each netted 24 points for Oregon State. Cunningham added five assists and Starks grabbed three rebounds.

With the win, Oregon State improves to 11-4 overall and 1-2 in Pac-12 competition. The Beavers will play their next game on Saturday, January 7 as they host the Stanford Cardinal.
