2012 Rose Bowl Score: Russell Wilson, Wisconsin Badgers Recapture Lead, Up 38-35 On Oregon

The Oregon Ducks received the ball out of halftime, and they didn't waste any time getting to work to put up points in the 2012 Rose Bowl. Oregon got a few nice runs from LaMichael James before De'Anthony Thomas broke to daylight on the left side and gave the Ducks their first lead, up 35-28.

Wisconsin then got a great kickoff return from Jared Abbrederis that put the Badgers deep in Oregon territory and got Montee Ball rushes of nine and 13 yards to set up a field goal attempt and cut the lead to 35-31. Oregon was forced to go three-and-out on the next drive, and the Badger conducted a methodical big drive. James White had some nice rushes to get Wisconsin across midfield, and then Russell Wilson had a huge 17 yard pickup to pick up a critical third down conversion. Wilson found Bradie Ewing, Ball and then Nick Toon for the go-ahead touchdown for the Badgers.

On the next drive, Oregon got a huge play from Darron Thomas connecting with Lavasier Tuinei, but then on 3rd and long Thomas backpedalled and overthrew his receiver, bouncing it up and into the hands of Aaron Henry. Wisconsin looked to run clock, but Kiko Alonso anticipated a throw from Wilson and stepped right in for an interception.
