Rose Bowl 2012 Score: Oregon And Wisconsin Tied At 28-28 At Halftime

The Oregon Ducks had an impressive response down 14-7 when De'Anthony Thomas went scooting 91 yards at the end of the first quarter to tie things up with the Wisconsin Badgers.

Wisconsin came right back, but they had another balanced drive when Russell Wilson found Nick Toon for eight and 18 yards and Jacob Pedersen for 17 yards. That set up another Montee Ball rushing touchdown to give Wisconsin the lead.

It took Oregon only two big plays to tie things up though, as the Black Mamba had a solid front Darron Thomas and Kenjon Barner connected on a 54 yard touchdown to make it 21-all. After Wisconsin was able to drive deep into Oregon territory, the Badgers got stopped on 4th and short.

The Wisconsin defense stepped up though, as Mike Taylor came unprotected off a blitz and blew up Thomas on a blind-side sack. Louis Nzegwu then scooped up the football and went into the end zone to give Wisconsin a 28-21 lead.

Oregon came right back with a solid two minute drill, as LaMichael James got a 29 yard rush, and Darron Thomas connected with Lavasier Tuinei and David Paulson. Bryan Bennett also found Thomas on QB throwback pass, and Thomas then found Tuinei on a three yard TD catch.

Better keep on doing pushups Duck. I doubt the scoring is going to end.
