Oregon vs. Arizona Score: Darron Thomas, LaMichael James, Kenjon Barner Jump Ducks To 14-3 Lead

The Oregon Ducks are stepping on the throats of the Arizona Wildcats early and often. Darron Thomas took the opening four rushes 31 yards on the first Oregon drive, found David Paulson and Rahsaan Vaughn for six and seven yard throws, and LaMichael James polished off the final 21 yards on the next two rushes to make it 7-0 Oregon. The Ducks went 8 plays and 80 yards in 2:42 as they overwhelmed the Arizona defensive front.

Not fast enough for Chip Kelly! On Oregon's second drive, they went 10 plays and 72 yards in 2:19. Thomas found James for eight yards and De'Anthony Thomas for 19 yards. Then Kenjon Barner polished off another drive with rushes of 16, 3 and 8 yards to put Oregon up 14-0. The Ducks have put up 142 total yards, 103 rushing on 7.9 yards per attempt.

Arizona drove late in the first quarter into Oregon territory to set up a field goal, but the Ducks are firmly in control through one.
