Oregon State Vs. UCLA Score Update: Mannion Throws Late Touchdown, Beavers Down 21-19 After Three Quarters

The Oregon State Beavers came out of halftime down 21-10 to the UCLA Bruins. The team knew they needed to rally in order to win the game and make some headway in the Pac-12, and they come away with a slight edge in the third quarter and a 21-9 deficit.

The Beavers got the ball to start the second half. They used a three-minute, 10-play drive to set up a 30-yard field goal by kicker Trevor Romaine.

Oregon State caught a nice break on the next drive, as the defense blocked a 39-yard field goal attempt by Bruins kicker Jeff Locke to reclaim possession at the Beaver 22-yard line.

Quarterback Sean Mannion gave the Beavers knew life at the end of the quarter with a 45-yard touchdown strike to Jordan Bishop. The Beavers failed to convert the two-point conversion but trail by just tow points heading into the fourth quarter.

Mannion has recorded 218 passing yards and one touchdown on 16-of-30 completions. He has tightened things up from his disastrous second quarter that saw him throw an interception and give away a fumble, which comes as good news to Beavers fans.

The ground game has produced only 78 yards so far and could prove instrumental in the fourth quarter as the offense looks to score.
