Oregon Vs. Missouri St. Score Update: Ducks Lead 35-7 At Halftime

The No. 12 Oregon Ducks lead the Missouri State Bears 35-7 at halftime. The Bears did score the game's first points, but Oregon has since poured it on to take a commanding halftime lead.

The Ducks entered the second quarter with a 14-7 lead, and Oregon got the ball back two minutes into the period when the Bears went for it on a 4th-and-1 and failed to convert. Quarterback Darron Thomas connected on two huge passes of 46 yards and 40 yards to Rahsaan Vaughn and Lavasier Tuinei, respectively, to set a scoring opportunity. Thomas hit Colt Lyerla on a seven-yard pass to finish the drive with a touchdown.

The rest of the period was more of the same for Oregon's high-power offense. Running back LaMichael James took the ball 90 yards for a touchdown on the very first play of Oregon's next drive.

Thomas and Tuinei hooked up once again on Oregon's following drive for a 34-yard touchdown. The duo have been unstoppable against the Bears and have already recorded two touchdowns.

Thomas has completed 10 of 14 passes for 202 yards and three touchdowns. James has 134 yards and two rushing touchdowns on nine carries carries. Tuinei has pumped in 91 receiving yards and two touchdowns on four receptions.

Oregon has 355 yards on offense already and will receive the kickoff to start the second half.
