Chargers Sign Former Seahawks UDFA Michael Huey

The San Diego Chargers signed recently Seahawks roster casulty and undrafted free agent guard Michael Huey to a three-year deal today. T Nick Richmond was released to make room for the former Texas Longhorn. Huey was released by the Seahawks on August 3rd.

Huey, 6'4, 304, started 12 games in his four years at Texas and was named honorable mention All-Big 12 in 2010. He is unlikely to play against the Seahawks on Thursday due to lack of preparation, but it would be something interesting to watch if he indeed was given the chance.
