After working out for multiple teams as he weighed his free agency options, defensive end Raheem Brock has signed a one-year deal to remain with the Seattle Seahawks. A critical part of Seattle's defensive line, this is a big signing to bring the veteran defensive end back to the great northwest.
(Hey, I like these tweets a lot more than the boring ones we usually get from the reporters.)
Brock, 33, set a career-high in sacks last season (9) in his first season with Seattle after coming over from the Colts. He recorded 32 tackles and played in all 16 games for the third consecutive season. The contract he signed seems very fair and leaves the team open to possibly make a few more moves before the season begins.
A big signing for Seattle to add onto an even bigger week for the franchise.
