NFL Free Agency: Jordan Babineaux Choosing Between Seattle Seahawks, Tennessee Titans

The NFL lockout is over, but the frenzy for talented free agents rages on as the Seattle Seahawks' safety Jordan Babineaux has apparently deduced his possible landing spots down to two teams; the Tennessee Titans or the Seahawks according to agent JR Rickert via twitter.

The eight year veteran has spent all of his NFL tenure with Seattle, but his status with the team has been up in the air almost all offseason. Head coach Pete Carroll preferred to use Earl Thomas and Lawyer Milloy for the majority of the 2010-11 season, and his contract is a bit too hefty for the Seahawks to keep as a third safety. But with the Titans coming into this season as a proverbial question mark, would it behoove both the 'hawks and Babineaux to restructure his contract and keep him on as a veteran backup on a contending team? That is yet to be seen, but hopefully will pan out sooner than later.

Babineaux has 411 career tackles for Seattle, along with eight forced fumbles and 10 interceptions.
