What are you most looking forward to this upcoming football season?
A state title.

What makes you believe Lakes has what it takes to win a it all this season?
This year's Lakes football team has the most talent and determination than any other Lakes team I've seen. It all comes down to who wants it more.

What are the biggest improvements on this year's team compared to last year's squad?
I feel that we have a lot more weapons on both sides of the ball.

On defense, you're obviously going to have a big impact, what other players should fans keep their eyes on?
Well we have a lot of young players that are going to be doing a lot of things for us this year.

Any young guys in particular?
David Johnson, O'Ryan Ethington and Keven Thompson.

What's it been like playing with Zach Banner?
It's been great and that's my bro this year. Him and me on the same side of the ball is going to be hell for the other teams.

What team provides the biggest challenge to Lakes on your schedule?
That's a hard one to answer but I would have to go with Capital.

I see that you have an offer from Colorado currently, what other schools are coming after you strong?
Washington, Washington St., Idaho and Utah.

What are the coaches telling you to improve on this season in order to get a scholarship offer?
They haven't really said anything, but they told me to just lay it all on the line.

Is there an NFL player you look to emulate your game after?
Justin Tuck, even though I play inside I still want to play like him.

How long have you been playing football?
8 years now.

What do you love about this game? What keeps you working hard?
I love everything about the game and trying to become the best at what I do.

Some quick hits...favorite rapper?
Oh, I'd have to say Lil' Wayne.

Favorite pre-game meal?
A Big Mac.

If you weren't playing football in HS what other sport would you be playing?
Well I do throw the shot put for our track team.

Finish the sentence: First thing I do when I wake up in the morning
is play some music and take a shower.

Teammates would be shocked to know I...
that I love to play both sides of the ball.

TV show I'd love to guest star on
Friday Night Lights.
