Women's World Cup star and Washington native Hope Solo will join the cast of Dancing With The Stars, according to a report on Monday night. Solo leaped back into the public eye this summer as the United States Women's National Team made a run through the Women's World Cup, falling just short in the finals to Japan. But Solo became a star, earning the adoration of the American public at large for her good looks and play on the field.
In many ways, Solo became the face of the team with her animated outbursts in goal and willingness to freely speak her mind. Now, she'll reportedly take her talents to the dance floor, entering a new arena and trying a new competition. And if her past ventures are any indication, she'll excel on Dancing With The Stars, as she has in the soccer world.
Solo joins an interesting cast, mixed with polarizing characters and personalities from all walks of life. Among the reported cast members: Nancy Grace, Rob Kardashian and Ron Artest. The rest of the leaked list, provided by the Miami Herald, can be found below.
