The 2011 Longacres Mile is just about three hours away, with the post call set for 5:53 p.m. at Emerald Downs. The race with the race should take place on the outside, where defending Longacres Mile champion Nossa Beach will break from the gate in an effort to become the third horse to win back-to-back titles. On the outside, and right next to Noosa Beach, is Awesome Gem, who holds the second-best odds to win at Emerald Downs. Just inside the two favorites, in the No. 10 post position, is Crew Leader, who holds solid 10/1 odds. Slew the Man is in the ninth gate with the third-best odds at 8/1.
