KeiVarae Russell Sets Official Visit To Notre Dame; Will Likely Officially Visit USC & Cal

College football recruiting is an ever-evolving landscape. Just a few weeks ago, KeiVarae Russell had a top three of the Washington Huskies, Notre Dame Fighting Irish, and the California Golden Bears. But then the USC offer came, and the top three became a top five.

Now Russell is starting to get things rolling. He told Mike Cane of the Herald (the local paper in Everett, Washington where Russell plays high school football) that he set an official visit to Notre Dame the weekend of October 22nd, when the classic USC matchup takes place in South Bend. He's likely to visit the USC Trojans and California Golden Bears as well.

Russell is also a big fan of his USC offer.

"That was a big one. That was always my dream school."

Are the Washington Huskies losing the race for the Mariner running back? Russell had UW and Boise State as two schools he "might" do official visits. It could just be that Russell is already so close to Seattle he can go there whenever he wants, but you'd still think if he was serious on Washington, he'd schedule an official. Stay tuned.
