Local sports fan and blogger Brian Elsner at Wait For It Seattle took a shot at ranking the top 50 athletes in professional Seattle sports history. The list is well put together and features every famous Mariner, Seahawk, Sonic and even Storm player you could think of. Since the list only includes professional athletes, famous UW athletes are not included.
↵While the top five athletes are predictable, you may be surprised to see some names like Freddy Garcia, John Olerud and Robbie Tobeck appear on the list.
