The 2011 NFL preseason kicks off on Thursday night and the Seattle Seahawks are in the spotlight. ESPN made the right decision, choosing the Seahawks and San Diego Chargers as its national game to open the exhibition slate. As a result, the entire country gets a heaping dose of Seahawks, as it rightfully should.
For Seahawks fans, Thursday game offers a chance to see some of the team's new toys, including the offense installed by new coordinator Darrell Bevell. Most importantly, though, Tarvaris Jackson, Sidney Rice, Zach Miller, Robert Gallery and many other new acquisitions will make their debuts in a Seahawks uniform, giving fans a chance to see the new-look roster. It's an exciting and scary time.
