WSU Football, Basketball Games To Be Aired On 770 KTTH AM, Streaming Online At MyNorthwest

The Washington State Cougars and IMG College have agreed to a radio deal with Bonneville Seattle Media Group that will put the football and basketball games on 770 AM beginning this fall. The deal, which stretches three-years, will give the Cougars a bigger presence in Seattle, though it's a step below 710 or 950 AM. However, the deal adds a weekly radio segment on Jim Moore and Kevin Calabro's show, as well as podcasts and other online content on MyNorthwest.com.

The biggest element of this deal has to be the streaming media rights give to Bonneville. Full football and basketball games will be streamed online at MyNorthwest.com, according to a press release from Washington State Athletics.

The three-year agreement, which begins this fall, includes coverage of all football and men's basketball games on 770 KTTH AM, a weekly segment on 710 ESPN Seattle during the Kevin Calabro Show with Jim Moore from 3-7 p.m. weekdays, a dedicated section on MyNorthwest.com and 710Sports.com, full-time streaming of football and men's basketball games, along with podcasts of games and related Cougar Athletics programming on both KTTH and 710 ESPN Seattle.

The Cougars should also see an increase in exposure in 2012, thanks to the new Pac-12 media deal that gave the conference an immense amount of money and exposure, both on FOX and ESPN. While some may be disappointed in 770 AM, the streaming media rights has to be seen as a win for Washington State fans, who should be able to listen to games at no charge from anywhere in the country.
