The Beavers fell behind early and Vanderbilt kept pouring it on, finishing with 11 runs in a comfortable win. Sam Gaviglio had a rough outing, surrendering four runs in the first as Oregon State struggled to mount any offensive charge. It never got better, though the Beavers did finally get on the board late in the game to prevent the shutout.
