NCAA Baseball Super Regionals, Oregon State Vs. Vanderbilt: Game Time, TV Information And More

The Oregon State Beavers made it a perfect weekend in the NCAA baseball regionals, powering through the Corvallis region with a perfect 3-0 record, downing Georgia on Sunday to earn a berth in the next round. The Beavers road to Omaha continues on Friday with a best-of-three series against the Vanderbilt Commodores, who came into the tournament as the No. 7 national seed. Vanderbilt was also perfect in the region round, downing Belmont to advance to the second weekend.

Vanderbilt has the hosting duties as the higher seed, and will welcome Oregon State to Nashville on Friday to begin the series. Unlike the regionals, which operated as somewhat of a mini-tournament, the Super Regional round is a simple three-game set. The Beavers and Commodores will meet on Friday and Saturday, with a matchup set for Sunday if necessary.

Building the Dam has the probable starters, as well as a weather report for the game, which features sweltering heat, even with the late start time.

Sam Gaviglio (12-2, 1.87) will get the start for the Beavers, while the Commodores will send out Sonny Gray (11-3, 2.01). In Gaviglio's last start, Sam went 9 innings, giving up 1 run (Earned) on 5 hits.

Temperatures will be in the 90s  approaching game time, which is 7 PM locally in Nashville, with only a slow decline during the evening

Friday's game begins at 5 p.m. PDT and will be broadcast on ESPNU. If ESPNU is unavailable in your area, you can also find a free live-stream of the game at ESPN3.
