Eight teams book trips to the Women's NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 on Monday, including our own Gonzaga Bulldogs. Again, upsets were few and far between as the Zags pulled the only real upset of the night, knocking off No. 3 seed UCLA in Spokane, 89-75, in a wildly entertaining game. Both No. 1 seeds in action -- Tennessee and Stanford -- also moved on, with the Cardinals cruising to a win and the Vols surviving after facing a tough test from Marquette.
On Tuesday, the women get back at it as 16 more teams play for a spot in the regional semifinals. No. 1 seeds UConn and Baylor are in action on Tuesday, looking to make it a clean sweep for top-seeded teams in the first two rounds.
