Nate Robinson Involved In NBA Trade Rumors, May Be Headed To Warriors

With the NBA trade deadline looming, former Washington Huskies standout Nate Robinson has found himself in the thick of the latest NBA trade rumors, linked to the Golden State WarriorsAccording to a report on Wednesday morning, the Boston Celtics are in talks with the Warriors and Robinson is at the center of a potential trade. So far, Robinson is the only name mentioned, and there's been no word on the other pieces involved.

This season, Robinson is averaging 7.1 points and 1.9 assists in 17.1 minutes per game for the Celtics. Though he's primarily been a reserve guard for Boston, with Rajon Rondo and Ray Allen handling the bulk of the minutes at the guard spots, Robinson has made 11 starts and appeared in 55 games.

Robinson signed a one-year, $8.7 million contract with the Celtics prior to the season after splitting time between Boston and New York during the 2009-2010 season. After an outstanding career at Washington, Robinson was drafted by the Knicks with the 21st pick in the first round of the 2005 NBA Draft.
