Pac-12 Championship Game Score: Oregon Ducks Lead Early Over UCLA Bruins

The first annual Pac-12 Championship Game is underway from Eugene and the Oregon Ducks currently lead 21-7 after a quarter of play. The UCLA Bruins have had no answer for UO's high-flying offense and scored their lone touchdown on a lucky pass deflection that was taken for a touchdown.

LaMichael James has been a man on a mission and already has 79 rushing yards and a touchdown. The shifty running back nearly broke away on a kick return as well. Outside of the interception, Darron Thomas has played well and has a touchdown both with his arm and on the ground. Tight end Colt Lyerla found himself wide open in the end zone and brought in the seven-yard TD pass.

Kevin Prince has complete three passes for 14 yards and has had no time to operate in the pocket. Jonathan Franklin currently leads the Bruins with 23 rushing yards.

If the first quarter was any indication, this will not be a close game. UCLA is showing a lot of heart and will continue to battle back, but the Ducks simply have too much talent and athleticism.
