Seahawks vs. Eagles Final Score: Seattle Dominates Defensively In 31-14 Victory

The Seattle Seahawks came up with a big victory on Thursday night as they knocked off the struggling Philadelphia Eagles by a score of 31-14.

Marshawn Lynch was the hero on Thursday night and led the way with 148 rushing yards and two touchdowns. After weeks of inconsistent play, Tarvaris Jackson stepped up as well, completing 13 of his 16 passes for 190 yards and a touchdown. Golden Tate hauled in four passes and was the recipient of the touchdown pass in the corner of the end zone.

The Eagles were clearly discombobulated without Michael Vick and Vince Young had an atrocious game. The backup QB threw four interceptions and only had 208 passing yards despite throwing the ball 29 times. LeSean McCoy did his part offensively -- two touchdowns and 133 yards of total offense -- but he was a one-man show against a tough Seattle defense.

The play that ended the game was a 77-yard interception return from David Hawthorne that went for a touchdown late in the fourth quarter. Simply put, Seattle dominated every aspect of the game.
