Despite taking out the Washington Huskies on the road by the score of 34-17 the Oregon Ducks dropped in this week's installment of the USA Today's Coaches Poll, falling one spot overall to No. 6, while a number of teams moved around ahead and behind them.

LSU held on to the top spot after taking out previous No. 2 Alabama Saturday night in Tuscaloosa, followed by the Stanford Cardinal, who used their win over Oregon State to move into the second spot. Oklahoma State and Alabama round out the top five followed by Boise State (6), Oklahoma (8), Arkansas (9), and Virginia Tech (10) as the rest of the top 10.

No. 9 Nebraska fell hard in the rankings, dropping 12 spots to No. 17 after their big loss to Northwestern. Previous No. 18 Arizona State fell out of the rankings after losing to UCLA 29-28 while No. 21 West Virginia lost to Louisville 38-35 to fall off the board as well.  Previously unranked Aubrun and TCU joined the top 25 this week, at 24th and 25th respectfully.
