The Oregon Ducks don't really care much about the BCS rankings. They are now back up to the 9th spot and pass the Oklahoma Sooners after winning the Civil War, but they are in no position to contend for the national championship game or the Pac-12 at-large bid if they don't win the conference championship game. That spot will got to the Stanford Cardinal, who move up to #4 over Virginia Tech and will clinch an automatic at-large bid if they stay in that position in the final rankings next week. Stanford will probably end up in the Fiesta Bowl for a matchup with the Big 12 winner if the standings stay pat.
There's only one spot Oregon cares about right now: The Rose Bowl. If Oregon wins on Friday night in Eugene, the Ducks win the conference championship, and they'll be going to Pasadena in January.
Here's a list of the BCS rankings.
