Seahawks Vs. Redskins Final Score: Rex Grossman And Washington Scores 16 Unanswered Points, Beat Seattle 23-17

The Seatle Seahawks looked like they were in great position to pull off the win against the Washington Redskins, but they didn't play all four quarters and it cost them.

Seattle was up 17-7 thanks to a Tarvaris Jackson connection with Golden Tate, but Washington came marching right down the field with Rex Grossman, and Roy Helu punched it in with a highlight-worthy run. After a quick three-and-out by Seattle, the Redskins turned to Grossman, and on a 3rd and 19, he aired one out for Anthony Armstrong in the edge of the end zone for a 50 yard strike to give Washington a 20-17 lead--the extra point was blocked.

Seattle's offense stagnated after going up 17-7, picking up a grand -9 yards on their final four drives. Seattle punted twice, turned the ball over on downs and Jackson threw an interception to end the game. In this game, the fourth quarter made all the difference for both teams.

Seattle falls to 4-7 on the season and are pretty much out of contention for the NFC West title and probably the wild-card as well.
