Civil War 2011: Oregon Vs. OSU Odds Have Ducks As Huge Favorites

The Oregon Ducks have had a few hiccups this season, but not that many. Oregon lost to LSU by a few touchdowns, and fell behind big to USC only to rally and fall short near the end. Other than that, they've been double-digit winners in all their contests, and haven't lost by more than two touchdowns all season.

Even though Oregon hasn't been dominant at Autzen Stadium as in year's past, they're still mighty formidable there, which is why it's no surprise they're huge favorites in their rivalry game. The Oregon St. Beavers are 27.5 to 28 point underdogs according to OddsShark, and considering they're 3-8 with only one significant victory over stumbling Washington, that line makes sense.

That being said, this might be a good time to beat on the Beavers here; Oregon has everything to lose and Oregon State has nothing on the line. The Beavers could be amped up to try and spoil the Duck party to get to the Rose Bowl. Taking the points looks like a good option.
