BCS Rankings, Week 13: Oregon Ducks Drop To 10th Behind Sixth-Ranked Stanford

The Oregon Ducks saw their BCS stock take a big hit this week when Oregon fell to the USC Trojans in Autzen. Their loss was reflected in the latest BCS standings, as they fell from fourth to tenth in the latest rankings released earlier tonight.

It really does have to hurt for Oregon, who were probably a victory over USC away from potentially controlling their own destiny in the BCS title race (or coming very, very close to it). Oregon is out of the national title hunt, and pretty much faces a one-case scenario  for getting back to the BCS. Oregon must win out to get back to the Rose Bowl for the second time in three years. The Ducks can't afford a loss to Oregon State because Stanford would then clinch the Pac-12 North bid to the conference championship game. And a loss in the conference title game to the South team will probably mean they lose their conference at-large bid to Stanford (who would definitely be ranked higher than a three-loss Oregon team).
