College Football Rankings, Week 12: Oregon Moves to No. 4 In AP Poll

The LSU Tigers are the unanimous No. 1 in the country according to voters for the AP Poll in week 12, the first unanimous No. 1 since Texas back in 2008. But the real news this weekend were the handful of upsets in college football, though the team making the most noise in the polls are the Oregon Ducks, moving all the way to No. 4 this week.

Alongside LSU and Oregon, Oklahoma State (2), Alabama (3), and Oklahoma (5) round out the top 5. With the loss Stanford falls to No. 8 this week in the AP, and possibly out of the BCS conversation, while another field goal snafu cost Boise State another undefeated season, dropping them all the way to No. 10. Georgia moved to No. 13 after topping Auburn, though Penn State fell to No. 21 after falling to Nebraska, who use the win to rise up to No. 17.

Cincinnati, Georgia Tech, Auburn, and Texas all lost their spots in the top 25 this weekend, though Florida State, Norte Dame and Baylor crept their way back in, holding down the last three slots respectfully.
