Washington State Vs. Arizona State Score Update: Cougars Trail 10-6 In Second Quarter

The Washington State Cougars are hosting the Arizona State Sun Devils, and from the opening kickoff, the game has proved to be exciting. The Sun Devils lead 10-6 in the second quarter.

Jamal Miles managed to return the opening kickoff 95 yards for a touchdown on the first first play of the game, giving the Sun Devils a 7-0 lead.

Not to be outdone in the theatrics department, Cougars freshman quarterback Connor Halliday came into the game and aired out a bomb to Marquess Wilson that resulted in an 85 yard touchdown pass. The Cougars failed the two-point conversion, but Halliday's first-ever collegiate play brought WSU to within 7-6. On the following possession, Halliday was leading another Cougars drive before Rickey Galvin fumbled the ball back to ASU at midfield.

So far, the Sun Devils have chosen to almost entirely avoid the rushing game. They have six total rushing yards on eight attempts.
