Oregon State vs. Cal Odds: Beavers Enter As Heavy Underdogs On Road

The Beavers and Bears will meet in a Pac-12 matchup on Saturday afternoon in beautiful Berkeley, California.

The Oregon State Beavers have struggled throughout most of 2011, but that does not mean the team can't make a late run as they prepare for next season. This is a very young team and a few late season wins would really propel the program into their offseason workouts and training camps.

For the Cal Bears, they are one win away from bowl eligibility. With the home crowd on their side, the team will be hungry for another conference victory and a chance to guarantee themselves postseason play.

According to Odds Shark, the Beavers will be the underdogs on Saturday afternoon. Oregon State originally opened as 11-point underdogs, but betting websites such as 5 Dimes and Bodog have since moved the spread down to 9 points. Regardless of the spread, many feel this will be a two-possession game throughout and that seems like a good bet on Saturday.
