The Oregon Ducks are struggling with the Washington St. Cougars, and they might have to go the rest of the game without their starting quarterback. Darron Thomas, who came into the game struggling with an injury and was questionable to play, has thrown one touchdown and completed over 60 percent of his passes. But he did throw two picks, including an interception returned for a touchdown that kept WSU within striking distance coming out of the half.
It's unclear if Thomas is hurt or ineffective, but he came out of the tunnel in the second half without his helmet on the sidelines. Backup QB Bryan Bennett (who played in the second half of the ASU game and started the Colorado game) has taken over as the signal-caller for the Ducks coming out of the half. More on Thomas's status when we have further details.
