Oregon Vs. WSU Score: Ducks Offense Malfunctioning, Lead Cougars 15-10 At Halftime

The Washington St. Cougars front has dominated the first half against the Oregon Ducks offensive line. WSU has accumulated nine more first downs, 20 more yards, and converted 5 of 11 third down attempts. Washington State's defense is the story though, as Darron Thomas has been picked twice, including once by Damante Horton with two minutes left in the half to give WSU their only touchdown of the first half.

If this was anyone other than Washington State, the Ducks might be down multiple touchdowns at halftime. But Washington State has turned over the ball twice in the red zone, had a punt block returned for a TD, and missed a field goal. That's about 16 swing points right there. Darron Thomas hooked up with Lavasier Tuinei on a wild 55 yard scramble when the Cougar safeties got caught looking at the QB instead of paying attention to the WR deep. Oregon might be in full upset alert instead of having to deal with only a simple caution flag, since the third quarter is usually when the Ducks offense takes flight.
