Jabari Bird To Take Official Visit To Oregon Ducks Basketball?

Jabari Bird is probably one of the key members of the 2013 recruiting class, and a lot of West Coast teams are definitely down and interested in the recruitment of the Salesian guard. One new Pac-12 team has entered the mix. Left Coast Recruiting has more on Bird's first potential official trip.

Jabari Bird told that he might take an official to Oregon real soon.

This is significant because up to this point, Bird has had four schools topping his list--the Arizona Wildcats, Washington Huskies, California Golden Bears and UCLA Bruins. That Oregon has now entered the fray and that Bird is willing to take one of his five officials up to the Pacific Northwest is a significant move. Bird could be one of the first of many stars to take center stage under the lights of Phil Knight Arena, and could help try and usher in a new age of Oregon basketball. This could be a very compelling story to sell, and something that could have Oregon into it until the end with Bird.

By the way, this is Jabari Bird.

Kind of good with the basketball, isn't he?
