For most of the top 25 teams in the NCAA not much has changed from last week, but a few teams made some big gains this past weekend. And despite having a bye this week the Oregon Ducks managed to gain some ground in the USA Today/Coaches Poll, moving up from the 11th spot to ninth without even taking the field.

Oklahoma remained number one overall in the poll, though second place Alabama received only six fewer first place votes than than the Sooners. LSU is right on their heels at third place, the Stanford Cardinal remained in fourth place, while the Wisconsin Badgers jumped into the fifth spot, even receiving a first place vote.

Clemson jumped from 15th to eighth this week, while Texas, Michigan, Arkansas and Georgia Tech moved from the bottom end of the polls into the middle of the pack. Texas A&M fell the furthest this week, going from 13th to 25th in the polls, while South Florida, Baylor and TCU all fell out of the rankings this week.
