The shootout between the ASU Sun Devils and the Oregon Ducks continues, although Oregon is threatening to run away with the game as the fourth quarter gets underway.
In the midst of a back-and-forth game, Ducks quarterback Darron Thomas left the game with a leg injury in the third quarter, but backup Bryan Bennett stepped in to take his place and Oregon scored 17 unanswered points heading into the fourth quarter..
De'Anthony Thomas and Kenjon Barner both had short touchdown runs in the middle of the third quarter, and Alejandro Maldonado managed a 37-yard field goal. The Sun Devils are still pressing, and managed to score a field goal in the fourth quarter to break up the Ducks' scoring run. The game is far from over, and the Ducks haven't quite wrapped this one up yet, but they have looked sharper than the Sun Devils in the second half, and there's a good possibility that they can make their 17 unanswered points be the difference in this one.
