Washington Vs. Colorado Score Update: Nick Montana Enters Game, Huskies Up 45-17 Over The Buffaloes

The Colorado Buffaloes wasted no time and gained 50 yards in their first two plays of the second half. Buffaloes running back Tony Jones found the end zone, giving Colorado their second touchdown of the game. Jones is filling in for Buffaloes starting running back Rodney Stewart. Stewart is out for the rest of the game with a sprained knee — he left the game in the first half.

Despite punting the football for the first time of the game in the third quarter, the Huskies offense refused to keep quiet. Jesse Callier finished a five play 66-yard drive with a 26 yard touchdown run. Chris Polk set up Callier's first career touchdown run with a 28 yard run of his own on the play before.

The Huskies' 45 points is the most they have scored this season. Washington has accumulated 468 total offensive yards with a whole quarter of football left to play.

With a 28 point lead, Huskies Head Coach ended Keith Price's day and inserted backup quarterback Nick Montana to man the Huskies offense for the rest of the game.
