Washington Vs. Colorado Score Update: Huskies Up 21-7 After The First Quarter

The Washington Huskies showed no rustiness in their first drive in two weeks. Jermaine Kearse caught a 17-yard pass from Keith Price, capping off a six play, 65 yard drive. Colorado's defense was on its heels, as it only took Washington 2:55 to drive the length of the field.

The Colorado Buffaloes answered the Huskies with a seven play, 70 yard drive on their own, capped off by a five yard pass from Tyler Hansen to Kyle Cefalo

Huskies Head Coach Steve Sarkisian's offense kept the momentum going and drove the field for over 70 yards again in under three minutes. Wide Receiver Kevin Smith scored on a reverse end-around run, going 22 yards and finding the end zone. The Huskies scored again in the final seconds of the first quarter — Austin Seferian-Jenkins caught his fourth touchdown reception of the season.

Price is 8-11 with 113 passing yards and two touchdowns through one quarter.
