Oregon Ducks Football Recruiting: Shaq Thompson To Visit For ASU Game

Shaq Thompson is taking his visits. The heralded Grant athlete is starting to look up and down the West Coast at the schools that he listed in his top five, and it's clear that he doesn't quite yet know where he's going.

The Washington Huskies were the first of the several schools that he took a visit to that he was considering for next season. Thompson then took an unofficial visit to watch the California Golden Bears at the Cal-USC game. Jake Brown of the Notre Dame Rivals site reports that the Oregon Ducks are next up, who could seriously use an athlete of Thompson's caliber on the defensive side of the ball.

Oregon has to be attractive to a safety like Thompson since the Ducks defense has put several big members of their secondary in the NFL and they play a very aggressive blitzing scheme.

After the Ducks, next on Thompson's list will be the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, as Thompson will visit South Bend next Saturday for the USC game.
