Oregon State Vs Arizona State Injury Update: Malcolm Agnew Will Not Play

When the Oregon State Beavers travel to Tempe this weekend to take on the Arizona State Sun Devils, they'll have to do so without the services of running back Malcolm Agnew. The freshman back, looking to fill the shoes of now-Atlanta Falcon Jaquizz Rodgers, has missed the last two games with a sore right hamstring and he'll have to miss at least one more this weekend.

Agnew got off to a quick start to the season as he rushed for 223 yards against Sacramento State in the opener. He pulled his hamstring in practice three days later. Things were looking good for him this week and he was cleared to play. He practiced Monday through Thursday, but he felt a twinge in his hamstring in practice on Thursday and took himself out. It was not improved on Friday and he's been declared out for Saturday.

Other injuries for the Beavers, per Oregon Live: "CB Sean Martin (foot) has been in a boot this week and is very doubtful. OG Grant Enger (shoulder), who replaced Josh Andrews (knee), made the trip. DT Castro Masaniai (suspension) returns, and S Josh LaGrone (knee) may play after coming out of retirement."
