UW Football Recruiting: Are The Huskies Targeting QB Adam Pittser?

Greg Biggins reports on his ESPN.com Insider blog that the University of Washington has turned its recruiting attention to quarterback Adam Pittser from Illinois after blowing it with Brett Hundley.

Pittser (Richmond-Burton, Ill./Richmond Burton)… was an under the radar signal caller with MAC offers until a standout showing at the EA Sports Elite 11 regional camp in Las Vegas. He was the final quarterback selected for the Elite 11 Camp and not much was expected, but he put on an absolute show at the event. He was voted MVP runner up by the college counselors and has all the skills to be an impact player in college.

The Huskies have made contact with Pittser and the interest is definitely mutual. Pittser grew up a Wisconsin fan and the Badgers are recruiting him heavily, but have yet to offer and have told the signal caller he’s the No. 2 guy on their board.

Scout.com ranks Pittser a three star recruit and the No. 24 quaterback in the class of 2011.

Scott Eklung of Dawgman.com reports that Pittser has “caught the eye of several schools including Washington which he will visit next month.”
