Seahawks running back Julius Jones may be cut in order to save money after the Seahawks trade or release receiver T.J. Houshmandzadeh. On the 710 ESPN's Kevin Calabro Show, John Clayton reported that the Seahawks will need to free up money somehow, and Jones is a likely to be cut because of it.

So the Seahawks roster purge continues as we head towards Saturday's 53-man roster deadline. At this point, it feels like none of the Seahawks are safe from the Carrol and Schneider rampage.
