Make Plans To Cheer The Sounders In The U.S. Open Cup

Seattle Sounders take on Columbus Crew in the U.S. Open Cup Final on Tuesday, October 5 at Qwest Field. Kickoff is at 8pm. The Sounders look to lift the Cup for the second year running.

Last year, the match took place in Washington, D.C., in front of less than 15,000 fans. A challenge to you, Seattle supporters: fill Qwest.

Over 11,000 tickets have been sold via the presale. Considering the importance of this game—that the Sounders are defending their trophy while, at the same time, looking to secure a spot in CONCACAF Champions League Play—filling up the home stadium would certainly be an advantage.

The players speak frequently about the importance of the crowd at home, and how much they love playing in front of their fans. Until now, the USOC matches have only been played at Starfire. It’s time to show up and make sure the same atmosphere exists at Qwest.

Tickets go on sale Tuesday, September 7 at 10am. They start at $15. Get yours. Heck, get your friends’ as well.
