Sounders Goal Keeper Terry Boss On Duty For Puerto Rico

Sounders backup keeper Terry Boss has been called in for national team duty for Puerto Rico in the Caribbean Championship. Stage One begins this weekend, with Puerto Rico taking on Anguilla on Saturday and Saint-Martin on Monday.

Boss will be with Seattle for Wednesday’s match against Marathón. He started against Monterrey last week and could start for the Sounders again this week in CONCACAF Champions League play before traveling to Puerto Rico.

Because Boss will miss Saturday’s match against Toronto, Seattle will use one of the keepers from the MLS emergency pool to ensure that they are covered if Kasey Keller is unable to play. Let’s hope that’s not the case.
