ESPN.com reports that University of Washington head football coach Steve Sarkisian, who was formerly an assistant coach at the University of Southern California, has some strong words for fomer USC standout tailback Reggie Bush, who recently decided to forfeit a Heisman Trophy he won after accepting illegal gifts while a student-athlete.
"He had a chance to apologize, look like the good guy," Sarkisian told ESPN's Shelley Smith. "But in giving it back and not apologizing, he just looks like an idiot again."
"No matter how much money he got paid, that didn't affect how we prepared," Sarkisian told Smith. "We weren't the best team in football because of what he or his parents took."
