Report: Steve Largent 'Could Be' Interested In Seahawks CEO Position

King5.com reports that legendary Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Steve Largent says he “could be” interested in the organization’s open CEO position.

King5 also offers a few more details about Largent’s post-football and post-politics career.

Largent, who played for the Seahawks for his entire Hall of Fame career from 1976-1989, is currently President and CEO of CITA, the wireless association in Washington, D.C.

The 7-time Pro Bowl wide receiver has managed his own advertising and marketing consulting firm, where he worked with numerous Fortune 500 companies around the country.

Largent’s name was first connected to the Seahawks CEO position Tuesday night. The Seattle Seahawks CEO position was vacated when former CEO and Vulcan, Inc. executive Tod Leiweke became part owner of the National Hockey League’s Tampa Bay Lightning.
