Seattle has found its new Mike Hass and his name is Kole Heckendorf. It would be irresponsible and ignorant of me to compare Heckendorf to Hass to Logan Payne, but I’m pretty it’s one person that periodically switches their jersey.
Payne’s redundancy has opened a place for Quinn Pitcock. Pitcock was drafted in the third round of 2007 draft by the Indianapolis Colts. He’s pure Tampa 2. Quick, good tech but at the limits of undersized.
Pitcock retired after the 2007 season. This is his return to the NFL. There’s talent there, but he looks particularly mismatched for Seattle’s scheme. He might have some place as a nickel defensive tackle. Perhaps.
