As the temperature continues to climb in Seattle, the rumors of Cliff Lee leaving the Mariners are also increasing. Word on the internet today is that, rather than pitch against the New York Yankees, Lee will be donning the pinstripes.
Rumors of the return include catcher Jesus Montero. It would be nice to have another Montero in Seattle sports, but it would be doubly nice if the Mariners had a catcher who could actually catch the ball. Not sure if this is the right one.
