Josh Lueke is improving

Seems like if you’re going to take a gamble, better to wager on a player on the way up. After a few unimpressive stints at various levels of A ball, Josh Lueke is now in AA and pairing his menacing visage with a dominant line. He has 26 strikeouts, five walks and two home runs allowed in 18.2 innings pitched. But back to that face for a second.

It’s like Adam Morrison traded earnestness for sawed-off shotguns.

Anyway, Lueke is a standard-issue right-handed fireballer with an easy name to Google and at least one black mark on his character. Sounds like Joe Reliever, to me.
