Justin Smoak heads down to Triple-A after doing not much of anything with Seattle.
Rather than doing something fun and exciting with deadline day, like finding a new home for David Aardsma, Seattle elected to send Smoak to Tacoma, put Milton Bradley on the DL and bring Matt Tuiasosopo and Sean White up.
In good news, if you want to head down to Cheney you can see Smoak, Michael Pineda and Dustin Ackley all in Rainers uniform. I don’t like only thinking about the future with regards to this team, but you can’t help but get excited upon hearing those three names together.
