There was never really a point when this outcome was in doubt.
The Storm jumped out to an early 21-9 lead with the Storm’s defense smothering Sky center Sylvia Fowles and after that they never really looked back.
They went into halftime with a 24 point lead on the strength of scorching hot 8-14 shooting from the three point line and although the Sky essentially played them even for the majority of the second half, the Storm never really looked back.
Storm forward Swin Cash led the team in scoring with 16 points and Lauren Jackson led the way early finishing with 14 points and four rebounds.
Fowles led the way for the Sky with 13 points, 5 assists and 5 rebounds.
With their 13th straight win, the Storm advance to 22-2 with only the league’s best record left to attain.
